New Artist… Dan Franklin Jones

I’ve expanded the ever evolving ‘Think’! I’ve taken on curating exhibitions for venues. Which means we have lots of new art coming in!

Dan Franklin Jones pieces are the first to arrive on the scene. Hailing from Pt Chevalier in Auckland, Dan launched himself full-time into his art practice a couple of years back and this amazing NZ pop art has been the result!

Quintessential pieces of our NZ world, everyday items that normally get overlooked now have a new meaning. Bread tags celebrating some of New Zealand’s momentous days and popsicle sticks with quirky jokes reminding us of our NZ childhood.

Listed here on the website you can also view these pieces in the flesh at Mercury Bay Estate in Cooks Beach. There’s more pieces still to arrive and the exhibition opening is planned for mid October so i’ll keep you posted.
